Tasked with the prevention of disaffection, Positive about YoungPeople (PaYP), through their interactive programmes, has been providing support and guidance and early intervention strategies for young people for over 10 years.
PaYP’s primary target group is 8 to 13 year olds; however care is taken to ensure that this is not seen as a straight jacket to
service provision, as the ultimate aim is to engage with hard to reach young people. PaYP’s programmes work primarily with
young people who are on the margins of getting involved in anti social behaviour or are at risk of becoming excluded. Positive about Young People are at the forefront of delivering co-ordinated, targeted and wellmanaged early intervention programmes that have a proven track record and are highly effective.
